Administration and Dosage: 

Take 2 capsules daily with breakfast or 1 capsule with breakfast and 1 capsule with lunch.

Drug interactions: 

Caution should be taken when taking an antidiabetic agent or insulin to lower blood glucose because Ginseng has been shown to have hypoglycemic effects.
Concurrent use of this drug with caffeine, sildenafil, amphetamine and Mono Amino Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) such as Phenelzine is not recommended.
Ginseng and warfarin both increase anticoagulation. The INR level should be monitored if is taken concurrently.
Consult with a physician if you are under medication with fexofenadine, furosemide, imatinib, immunosuppressant, nifedipine and also QT interval prolongation drugs.

Contraindications and precautions: 

Who NOT to take it 
•    People with acute asthma, acute infections, excessive bleeding during menstruation or epistaxis, breast cancer and high blood pressure should not take this drug. 

Precautions: 
Consult with a doctor if you have signs of allergic reaction, changing in menstrual bleeding, bleeding after menopause and taking any other medications.

Side effects 
By the results of controlled clinical trials no side effects are known with the prescribed dosages. But intake of larger dosages may cause symptoms such as hypotension, hypertension, mastalgia, nervousness, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, edema, decreased appetite, headache, dizziness, vaginal bleeding, and amenorrhea and skin problems.
 

Use during pregnancy and lactation: 

Avoid taking this drug during pregnancy and lactation.

Mechanism of Action: 
Ginseng is one of the most widely used herbal medicines and is reported to have a wide range of therapeutic and pharmacological applications. Ginsenosides, the major pharmacologically active ingredients of ginseng, appear to be responsible for most of the activities of ginseng and lead to the mentioned therapeutic effects by affecting on hypothalamus and adrenal glands and also increasing the synthesis of corticosteroids.
Active Ingredients and Components : 
Ginsafort tablet is made from Panax ginseng L. (Asian ginseng) root extract. Each tablet contains around 45 mg standardized dry extract of Panax ginseng, equals to 36 mg total ginsenosides as ginsenoside Rg1.
